Taking full advantage of its rich natural environment, cycling, rafting, trekking and other outdoor sports are very popular in Iida city.
Every year in early summer Iida hosts the “Tour of Japan”, a top international competition attracting cycling enthusiasts from home and abroad.
By choosing a route from several courses with different distances and destinations in the spring walking event called, “Iida Yamabiko March”, participants can enjoy walking in the nature.
